Kneeling Crossbowman from the Terracotta Army

For a few minutes of summertime fun, please enjoy the video below.

 Ten Archeological Mysteries

You probably haven’t thought much about these mysterious locations since high school world history class. The terra-cotta army guarding the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang Di, the Pyramids of Giza, and the city of Machu Pichu – Who built these wonders? What stories lie within their walls? What treasures are there to discover? No one really knows the answers, but we can imagine. What great fodder for a novel, a short story, poem  or flash fiction!

You know I love hearing from you and anxiously await your comments!

Do any of these places spark a story idea for you? Do you have an aspiration to travel to any archeological site?

Please stop by The Life List Club and share your list or comment on mine. Then you can go visit the Life Lists of other writers located in the right-hand sidebar, The Life List Club Blogroll.

  1. Glad you both enjoyed that! History sure is a nice change from all that reality TV. History’s the original reality TV! thanks for coming by Patti and Donna.

  2. I love historical fiction and mysteries…and I watch a lot about ancient civilizations on some great cable stations…can’t get enough actually

I love it when you tell me what you think!
